Proverbs 31 is often titled “The Virtuous Wife” or “The Virtuous Woman”, but I would call it “The Virtuous Mom!”
Proverbs 31:1 tells us that this passage came directly from a mother’s heart to her son—a future king. Notice: “The words of King Lemuel, the utterance which his mother taught him.” So in essence, the wisdom regarding “the virtuous woman” in Proverbs 31 came directly out of the heart of a mom.
To all moms, don’t underestimate the amazing role and influence you have with your children. You are a gift from God to your children. And remember: even Jesus had a mom. What a special role!
